SLAM is committed to promoting the arts and art education in the state in a manner that enriches and involves the community. We rely heavily on direct public support to accomplish this mission, and have three areas of focus; 1. scholarships and grants to fund Montana residents pursuing education in the arts, 2. public art installations, 3. events that showcase the artistic talents of Montana residents.
